Cue The Vibes!
The Large Group Vibe Check
Objective
Engage a large group in meaningful conversations using fun, reflective prompts. Perfect for team meetings, training sessions, classrooms, family gatherings, or friend hangouts, this activity encourages sharing, connection, and thoughtful reflection.
Instructions
1. Pick ONE Group Sharing Style
Choose how your group will interact with the cards:
-
A. One Card for All: Select a single card for everyone to answer.
-
B. Group Cards: Divide the group into smaller teams and give each team their own card to discuss.
-
C. Card Grab: Spread all cards on a table or surface and let each person pick one as they arrive.
Form Groups
After deciding on the sharing style, split participants into smaller groups if necessary. Aim for groups of 4-6 people to ensure everyone has enough time to share.
2. Cue the Vibes! Share & Connect
-
One person at a time reads their chosen card aloud and shares their response.
-
After the first person answers, everyone in the group responds to the same card with their own thoughts or feelings.
-
Once everyone has responded, the next person in the group takes their turn by reading their card, and the process repeats.
-
Discard Used Cards: After all players have answered a card, place it in a discard pile to keep the game organized and track progress.
3. Choose a Follow-Up Question
The person who chose the card gets to decide on the follow-up question to spark deeper reflection.
-
What surprised you about someone else’s vibe or perspective?
-
What’s one similarity or difference you noticed that could help you adjust how you interact with others?
-
How did someone else’s answer make you think differently about the topic?
-
What’s one thing you learned about someone that you didn’t know before?
-
How does this discussion relate to something happening in your life right now?
Finish the Game
-
The game ends when everyone has responded to all cards in play.
-
If you’d like to continue, shuffle the deck and start a new round, or select cards from specific levels (e.g., deeper-level prompts) to explore more meaningful conversations.
Optional Variations
-
Vibe Lightning Round: Limit each player to a one-sentence response to keep the game moving quickly.

WHAT'S D.I.S.?™
Dating & BFF Game
Getting Started
Step 1: Split the Deck
-
Divide the deck into two equal halves. Give one half to your date—because sharing is caring! 🤝
Step 2: Prepare the Special Cards
-
Look through your half of the deck to find these special cards:
1, 4, 6, 9, 14, 23, 27, 28, 31, 34, 38, 40, 41, 42, 45, 49, 67, 68, 69. -
Be on the lookout for all of them, just in case your deck got mixed up beforehand. 👀
-
Once you’ve found them, shuffle them together and place them face down in a single pile. Set the rest of the cards aside for now.
How to Play
Step 1: Pick Your Roles
-
Decide who will be Person A and who will be Person B. (ADD MORE PEOPLE IF NEEDED)
-
The person who first reached out to say hello or made the first move goes first. Take your time and try to remember who made the first move! If you can't recall, the person who has the most courage gets to start! 💪✨
-
In a small group, the person with the most letters in their first name goes first! (This is the name that most people in your life refer to you as.)
Step 2: Draw a Card
-
Person A draws the top card from the special pile and reads the prompt aloud. 🃏
-
Both Person A and Person B guess whether Person A’s response will be:
-
Different,
-
In-Between, or
-
The Same as Person B’s response.
-
-
Write your guesses on your individual scorecard—no peeking at each other’s guesses! 📝👀
-
Fill in your responses in the scorecard ON THIS PAGE BELOW (YOU CAN FILL IT IN DIRECTLY TOO!)
-
You can also download it to your device. If you use Google Docs, click the button below, log into Google, and then choose "Make A Copy".
-
What's D.I.S.™ Response Key (with Real Card Examples):
Use this fun spectrum to figure out if your answers feel Different, In-Between, or the Same!
(With multiple people, write the other person's initials next to your response so that if there are 3 people, each round will have 3 responses that represent your response compared to each person's response.)
D = Different: Your answers head in totally separate directions.
Example (Card 1: Seasons):
-
Person A: “Spring, because I’m feeling fresh and ready to grow.”
-
Person B: “Winter, because I’m feeling calm, quiet, and reflective.”
Result: Completely different vibes—D!
I = In-Between: Your answers share a common thread but aren’t identical.
Example (Card 9: Hidden Talents):
-
Person A: “I’m a secret poetry writer.”
-
Person B: “I’m secretly learning to code video games.”
Result: Both hidden creative pursuits, but in different forms—In-Between!
S = Same: Your answers match in spirit, goal, or feeling.
Example (Card 14: Superhero Powers):
-
Person A: “The ability to stop time.”
-
Person B: “Super speed.”
Result: Both want more time and efficiency—Same!
Step 3: Share Your Responses
-
Person A answers the prompt first. 💬
-
Then Person B (The other people) answers honestly—be real, no cheating to manipulate the outcome! 😉
Step 4: Time for D.I.S.!
Now it’s time to decide together! 🤝
-
Work as a team to figure out if your responses fall into the Different, In-Between, or Same category.
-
Take your time—this is the fun part! 🥳
-
Explain your reasoning, share a laugh, and enjoy the discussion. 🧠💕
-
With a small group, the whole group can decide together!
Scoring
🌟 Here’s how you score points:
-
If both players guessed correctly:
-
You both earn 2 points! 🎉
-
(Or if you are one other player score correctly, it's 2 points for each correct pairing!)
-
-
If only one player guessed correctly:
-
That person earns 1 point. 💪
-
(Or if you are playing with other players, 1 point for each correct guess that you made, but the other person did not)
-
-
If you can’t agree on whether the responses were Different, In-Between, or the Same:
-
You “Agree to Disagree,” and no one gets points. 😅
-
💡 Don’t forget to record your points on your scorecard after each round! 📝✨
Step 5: Reflection Time
Before moving on to the next round, take a moment to connect:
-
Each person asks one follow-up question based on the responses.
-
Be thoughtful, curious, or playful—it’s all about understanding each other better! 💭💖
Step 6: Switch It Up
-
Now it’s Person B’s turn to draw a card. 🃏
-
Both players make a guess about whether the responses will be Different, In-Between, or Same, and write it down. 📝
-
This time, Person B answers first, followed by Person A. 💬💬
-
Repeat steps 3-5, adding points to your scorecard after each round.
Winning the Game
-
The person with the most points at the end is the official winner—bragging rights are yours! 🏆✨
-
But let’s be real: If you laughed, learned something new, or felt closer to your partner by the end, you both win in the ways that matter most. 💕🎉

Here’s how to adjust card questions to match your theme:
Circle Theme - Respect
Don't be afraid to get creative and think about how your theme can shape the questions! 🎨
